The Cerberus Tripart- Cerberus: The Abyss

The second chapter of Volsung and Tulpa(the name of the male companion who travels with Volsung)'s story. This part of the series actually takes place after the third section (which follows a completely different cast of characters). So, in a sense, this is the third and final part of the series. Confusing? I know. Anyway, a certain event that takes place at the end of the first section causes both Tulpa and Volsung to be shifted to Earth. They awaken in different places with little idea of where they are or how they got there. As Tulpa searches for Volsung, he comes across a young man who has many of the same appearences Volsung does. This young man, who calls himself Seig, has no memory prior to a year ago, about the same time Volsung and Tulpa were sweapt away. Considering this to be no fluke, Tulpa decides to stay with the young man, who's kind enough to take him in. After a few strange nightmares and finally a display of his abilities, Seig discovers he may be more connected to Tulpa and the strange events than he thought. It isn't long before the two are sought out by a shady oganization and forced to go on the run, with a little help from some old friends. Over time, Seig begins to have strange flashbacks, flashbacks which could lead to the truth behind the "game", as well as his own identity.

This one still needs some work. This is the basic idea, but yeah, much more to go XP

The Cerberus Tripart-Cerberus

As you might have noticed above, Cerberus is a three-part series, meaning that there is a Cerberus 1, 2, and 3. The first of the series, simply titled "Cerberus", revolves around a character named Volsung, who is a "human boy with fox ears". He is -not- kitsune. If he were, he'd have a tail as well. The ears have a speacial meaning to the story, which I'm not sure I'll reveal just yet. Anyway, Volsung wakes up one day under a tree and finds that he has no memory of who he is, where he's from, anything. He wonders from place to place and soon finds that the world he's in is actually a video game to many people (though not everyone). Determined to know who he is and why he's in a place that apparently isn't real to the thousands of strange characters running about, he and a significant other (in the original story it was a girl named Kit, but I'm considering throwing in a guy instead, still trying to decide) travel across the world searching for clues to his past, as well as his ties to a crazy, sadistic stalker named Yiska [E-s-ka] who appears from time to time to monolog and strike fear into the hearts of the two. As the story progresses, it's found that Yiska and Volsung are far more connected than first thought and are locked in an infinite battle between balance and chaos (more on this later).

That's the main jist of the story, it's much deeper than that, but I'll touch on the rest later. If you have any comments or questions feel free to comment me.

Why ello person or persons! Just thought I'd introduce myself to you all! This blog is going to be all about my series, Cerberus. It's a manga that I've been working on the past three years or so. Recently I've been going through some major changes in the storyline and character designs. It seems the story has changed along with my perspective on life...hahaha?
